69' Ford mustang

My model of a Ford Mustang (and my first model ever :D) features Drive and steering.

I am defiantly not happy with this: I couldn't conceal the battery box, there is no interior or openable bonnet but I think is is kind of OK because it is so small. if i had a 8878 battery it would probably look much better

I professionally edited the photos with Sariel's photo processing tutorial. the photos are just about the only thing I am proud of with this model.

back to the model... I found that the 3 studs wide deferential needs some way to hold the axles into the diff, this model has none so you can turn a corner and it will just stop moving. (the axle will come out of the 12t gear.

if you look at this picture and think that it has pendular suspension it doesn't; i tried but eventually I decided that it was far to weak with it.

it has return to center steering that works the same way as: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0sIWkod3xg&feature=player_embedded in that it uses the M-motor tension's to return to center.

if your wondering I edited the Youtube clip on iMovie for my iPod touch

Please look at the pictures on Flickr
or if you prefer you can look at them on Brickshelf
